It is therefore obvious from the above highly simplistic analysis that the poor woman is paying more and being compelled to widen the inequality gap. Those who passed this into law should have realised that the policy is more elitist in nature and was not going to promote the welfare of the generality of the Nigerians which is supposed to be the primary reason for governance. The earlier the present government led by APC stops this unpopular policy the better for it.
